Recently, Indian solar manufacturer Premier Energies announced that it has secured orders for 16 GW of solar cells and modules, valued at 257.7 billion rupees.
According to reports, these orders come from Indian independent power producers, module manufacturers, and engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) firms, with delivery scheduled for the 2027–2028 fiscal years.
Premier Energies stated that it will continue to expand its production capacity. Its current module production capacity stands at 11.1 GW, and solar cell production capacity is expected to increase to 10.6 GW by September 2026.
