Recently, Australia has launched a pilot project for the recycling of photovoltaic components, aiming to collect 250,000 photovoltaic modules at 100 sites.
According to the bidding requirements, the winning supplier will undertake the entire process services of project planning, collection, transportation, distribution and recycling disposal, be responsible for the construction of distribution sites, and select subcontractors through market competition. In addition, the supplier is also required to compile training materials for the safe disposal of retired photovoltaic components and establish a data monitoring and reporting system.
The contract period of this project is expected to be from May 2026 to June 30, 2027. There is no guarantee that it will not be extended. The deadline for this bidding is April 24, 2026.
